Next PVN Meeting: Wednesday - June 9, 2010 ---- 6:30 pm

The June Program

Feature Presentation

Epson will be presenting their new DVD/CD burner/printer debuted at NAB. Looked quite impressive and will give Bravo and Mircoboards some needed competition.

Pro Basics & Beyond

This month's Pro Basics and Beyond segment will be led by Steve Moses from Vantage Point Productions and will focus on how to capture reliable footage as a second shooter for a live event. Some specific points you might think over before the meeting are (1) communication with the primary shooter (2) forming a team strategy ahead of time and (3) being ready for the unexpected. Be ready to both share your expertise and hopefully learn a bit along the way.

In addition to the main presentations, there are two components of PVN meetings that always stimulate: The "For Sale" table and the "Bring and Brag" segment. The first offers bargains that are hard to pass up. The latter offers inspiration for enhancing your skills. There's a lot to love!

We look forward to seeing you there.
