Go Big Or Go Home

We're offering everyone the chance to set up and demonstrate the larger production items that we each have available for freelance shooting assignments. In doing so, we'll be able to assess what gear is out there and know who to hire when the time comes that we need those specialized items in our own productions. Everyone is welcome to bring their cranes, jibs, full steadicam rigs (with vests), long sliders, extra tall light stands, dolly track, etc. This is not limited to camera stabilizers. If you have other gear that would be suitable for large scale productions, you're welcome to show it off. And as a feature of this segment, Eric Ortlieb will demonstrate a new motorized slider of his own design.

Pro Basics & Beyond

We will have a quick demonstration of how to turn a simple slider shot into a simulated crane shot in the edit.

We will have an extended bring and brag section this evening. Please bring your unique films of approximately 5 minutes or less and be prepared to briefly discuss the work that went into them.
